Attention: Read IVAW's response to Abdo's Arrest

Despite the Obama administration's claims of the Iraq war being over and the escalating occupation of Afghanistan as a just cause, servicemembers are increasingly speaking out. Resistance to illegal and immoral wars and occupations is the right thing to do and we support all the troops who take a stand against it.

PFC Nasser Abdo, a soldier stationed at Fort Campbell, KY, is refusing deployment to Afghanistan and has filed a claim for conscientious objector status based on his Muslim faith. One way to take action is to donate to his legal defense fund.

PFC Bradley Manning, accused Wikileaks whistle-blower, has secured a civilian lawyer, David Coombs, and is awaiting trial in the Marine Corps brig in Quantico, VA. Bradley also has a supporter website at http://www.bradleymanning.org/.
